Fisherman’s Friends - 19th December

FLICKS IN THE STICKS AT GORSLEY VILLAGE HALL     Thursday 7.30 p.m. (cert. 12A)

A genuinely ‘feel-good’ film in which ten fisherman from Cornwall are signed by Universal Records and achieve a top ten hit with their debut album of Sea Shanties “Fisherman’s Friends is a formulaic but thoroughly amiable and upbeat British comedy with a flavour of Ealing Studios and The Full Monty about it.” Geoffrey Macnab (The Independent)

The running time of this film is 1 hour 52 minutes, so there will be no interval.

Admission (at the door): Adults £5.00, Children (under 18) £3.00. Discounted tickets (Adults £4.50, Children £2.50) can be purchased in advance from Gorsley Community Shop or from Tony Beckwith (01989 720358 or [email protected]).
