Description: Thursday 29th – Saturday 31st March: 7.30pm – May Hill Village Hall
The two act play is set at The Mount, a home for retired theatricals.
It is an unusual place, more like a country house hotel than a home for the over 55’s. Three retired
actresses, all close friends for many years, enjoy a comfortable life alongside their old actor friends
Walter and Danny.
All is well until the serial womaniser and ex husband of the three women goes missing, apparently on
the run from Russian gangsters. When the husband arrives seeking refuge, the home is turned upside
down. The wives plot to protect ‘he who pays the bills’ with hilarious consequences.
A licensed bar is available each evening.

Oxenhall Daffodil Weekend

Light lunches & country teas plus stalls selling bric-a-brac, plants & homemade produce.
Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust is holding an Open Day on the Saturday, at Betty Daws Wood, from
1.00 to 4.00pm.
Members of the Reserve Committee will lead walks starting from Betty Daws Wood at 2.00pm on
both Saturday and Sunday
On the Saturday there will be a walk suitable for children/families around Betty Daws wood at
2.30pm. During this walk the guide will include information on the wildlife that inhabits the woods.
An opportunity to see the beautiful wild daffodils. Please ensure you have suitable clothing and
footwear for muddy conditions.
You can walk along the old Gloucester-Hereford Canal
St Anne’s Church will be open, as will our Local Traditional Breeds Poultry Park at Quince Cottage
